Workshop Overview

(2-day workshop) – Explores how executive leaders can foster a culture of continuous improvement, institutional learning, and strategic resilience. Participants learn how to build organizations that only "pay once for a mistake" and develop environments that withstand turnover pressures. Execuitves will have gain the perspective on how to shift from static repositories to dynamic knowledge systems, where knowledge continuously evolves through usage, feedback, and real-time inputs. Using real-world examples, participants identify systemic enablers for knowledge capture, transfer, and learning sustainability.

Learning Objectives

This hands-on workshop validates an individual's competencies in knowledge management implementation techniques. It enables individuals to:

  1. Recognize Knowledge with AI as a strategic enabler in modern defense and R&D environments.
  2. Understand the key concepts behind Knowledge Management, AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI in non-technical terms and identify potential AI applications in defense (e.g., mission planning, logistics, threat detection, simulation).
  3. Learn how to Operationalize Dynamic Knowledge with AI and lead the employees redesign workflows by GenAI and Knowledge considering ethical and legal risks related to AI in security-sensitive environments.
